Title

Deconstructing climate misinformation to identify reasoning errors.

Summary

Misinformation about climate change misleads the public and hinders policy support due to reliance on heuristics. Inoculation theory, using critical thinking to explain fallacies in denialist claims, can effectively counteract this. Analysis of 42 common denialist claims shows they all fail to refute the scientific consensus on anthropogenic global warming, offering a valuable resource for educators.
