Title

Summary

In a debate fanned by the media and populist politicians, this article argues that the ‘threats’ of masses of people from developing countries landing on European shores are not based on current scientific evidence and thus do little to promote evidence-based policy decisions rather than fear- (and prejudice-) based reactions.
