Title

The Complexity of Post-truth in Research: An Indigenous Speculation. In Post-Truth, Fake News

Summary

In an era where objective facts and verifiable truths are less influential in shaping public opinion than emotional appeals and personal beliefs, it is becoming increasingly difficult to discern what is real from what is merely sensationalized. This article highlights concerns that academics have about post-truth.  Deterioration of verifiable truth also endangers the objectivity and existence of research, potentially leading to a significant change in discourse where the world is perceived more like a celebrity spectacle than an interconnected entity with inherent connections.
