Title

Videos and podcasts for delivering agricultural extension: achieving credibility, relevance, legitimacy and accessibility

Summary

This paper investigates the credibility, relevance, legitimacy, and accessibility of videos and podcasts in farm extension. It finds that videos should be short, practical, and visual, while podcasts can be longer and detailed. Both require high-quality, non-biased content from respected sources. The study offers practical insights for policy-makers and advisory services, especially in adapting to the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic, and introduces the CRELE framework to understand the trade-offs between digital and face-to-face extension methods.
